We are currently seeking driven and talented Software Engineers who thrive on pushing the limits of technology to produce state of the art trading application infrastructure. The Software Engineers will be part of TT’s award-winning trading and analytics platform which incorporates robust, high-performance tools for spread trading, strategy creation, algorithmic trading, black-box execution, high-frequency proximity-based trading and more. TT’s Analytics team develops a server-based analytics system fully integrated with X_TRADER® trading product via the X_RISK™ analytics front end, and integrating with the Algorithmic Server Engine platform that allows creating and managing algorithms run on high performance collocated servers. It provides users with high-performance, rich analytic data, charts and technical indicators.
Software Engineers are constantly challenged to deliver creative, imaginative solutions for highly complex technical issues as part of a team of talented and experienced engineers. Under the guidance of an Architect, a Sr. Engineer is provided the opportunity to learn and grow in their role. You will be working in a professional development environment with mature SDLC processes and first class support to produce industry leading systems.

  • Duties include the ability to analyze processes, produce design documents and materials, develop C++ programs, develop test scenarios, and analyze designs and code for errors.
  • Develops unit tests for completed work as part of existing frameworks, and automated regression scripts for completed work, again as part of existing frameworks.
  • Contributes to system, functional and technical specifications.
  • Analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with other systems.
  • Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with program or system.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2 + years’ experience in software development.
  • Excellent C/C++ skills.
  • Strong knowledge of multithreaded applications preferred.
  • Working knowledge of STL and template programming.
  • Proficient in object oriented design and coding techniques.
  • Experience with automation scripting, especially Python
  • Experience with Equities, Futures or Options trading is a plus.
  • Experience with .NET managed code development a plus.
