Currency Trader - Junior Program

A leading investment advisory company is currently inviting novice and experienced traders to apply for Junior Currency Trader as part of our expansion program in New York.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assessing real time market positions, market trends, and conditions that affect the global capital market to find profitable trading opportunities;

  • Keeping current on new financial products and services in addition to regulation changes;
  • Monitoring global news on macroeconomic and geopolitical events affecting the Forex market and forecasting relative currency strengths of major countries;

  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications and keeping current on continuing education requirements;


  • Keeping management informed by submitting result reports on weekly and monthly base;
  • Conducting extensive research on how global capital markets perform through macroeconomic study and technical analysis.
  Requirements 
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required - advanced degree preferred;
  • Exception analytical skill with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment;

  • Ability to monitor current global events from over 15 countries with strong attention to detail;

  • Diligence  and Superb discipline under high pressure;
  • Bilingual a plus (Japanese, Chinese, German, Russian, Korean, French);
  • Experience in the financial industry as a trader or researcher is a big plus.
