Position: Derivatives Settlement – Operations Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 monthsStart Date: August 2011
Description:
The primary purpose of this
position is to provide direct support to the structured credit trading
desk by being versed in the various applications used for trading and
settlement. These systems include Murex, Excel, TAS, Omega, Bloomberg.
Main responsibilities:
- Pre-confirm all the trades with the final counterpart.
- Create static data in Murex: bonds, ABS for the for the purpose of CDS of ABS transactions, Pool Factors, etc.
- Liaise with International Operations to ensure the proper recording of the issuers.
- Follow up with CMAD with regard to new CDO KYC process based on information gathered by FO.
- Coordinate the set up of the various systems involved in the creation of a CDO with Bank Departments as well as CSI.
- Reconcile all trades done in a warehouse book (Cash CDO) with trader tickets and CDO Manager Blotter.
- Download any relevant collateral information from BBG / Intex systems into a warehouse spreadsheet.
- Assist structuring with transferring bonds at deal closing into a relevant SPV.
- Check trade tickets input traders and validate.
Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident of the US

Requirements
- 3+ years demonstrated experience in a similar capacity.
- Knowledge of Murex, Excel, TAS, Omega, Bloomberg or equivalent systems.
- Must be experienced with Excel.
- Strong logical and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented possessing organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Four Year College Degree strongly preferred.
- French speaker is a plus.
