Organization Objective/Purpose:

Windhaven Investment Management is an SEC-registered investment advisory firm serving high net worth individuals, trusts, retirement plans, foundations and endowments. We broadly diversify investment portfolios across the global capital markets and regularly include exposure to gold, commodities and real estate, in addition to more traditional investments in US and non-US stocks and bonds. Our mission is to help our clients achieve an attractive rate of return on their investments over the long term while preserving their capital under a wide variety of global macroeconomic and geopolitical conditions.

Brief Description of Role:

Ensure that operational tasks and trading for the Collective Trust Funds (CTFs) are completed efficiently and accurately
Process the morning data download and reconcile data between in-house system and custodians
Ensure that our trading system (Moxy) is updated and available for use at 9:30
Maintain data integrity in our portfolio accounting software (PortfolioCenter)
Enter adjusting cash entries, and other transactions to accurately reflect CTFs' positions
Perform daily/weekly checks to validate fund holdings with the custodian
Maintain reconciliation integrity between Moxy and PortfolioCenter
Create and maintain the list of daily trading items with respect to the CTFs
Run compliance and tolerance check on the CTFs:
Check prior day trades to ensure CTFs are in compliance with model allocations
Manage the trade settlement and affirmation process
Communicate trade details from executing broker to the custodian
Work with trading and compliance to create and maintain procedures and documentation for trading/operations best practices
Perform daily trade execution data analysis

Technical/Functional Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience trading a pooled vehicle (collective trust fund or mutual fund) with daily cash flows
Experience executing trading strategies to accommodate the daily cash flows in a pooled vehicle
Experience trading ETFs, equities, options, swaps, future contracts and other investment vehicles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Very organized, process-oriented individual who is a stickler for accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient with all Microsoft products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and a quick learner with new software applications
Proficient with Bloomberg
Experience with Moxy and PortfolioCenter is a plus
Must be highly ethical, reliable and trustworthy
Bachelor's degree required with excellent finance or math skills
