Manager, Active Trader Relationship Management

Manager, Active Trader Relationship Managers focus is to coach and mentor all Active Trader Consultants on their team on the objective to maintain and deepen relationships with existing active traders and initiate new relationships with Active Trader prospects. This includes educating ATCs on E*TRADE FINANCIAL'S wide range of products, platforms and services and presenting them with solutions that meet their sales needs.

Essential Job Functions:

* Increased focus on key division metrics resulting in increased revenues, increased assets, new households, leads, referrals, and closure rates by promoting the use of Active Trader service and product offerings.
* Proactive and strategic business development initiatives that increase E*TRADE AT brand awareness within Investment Branch and National Branch footprints.
* Set high performance standards and expectations for Active Trader Consultants, and hold them accountable for results.
* Monitor quantitative and qualitative data on ATC’s performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
* Conduct effective sales debriefs with ATC’s through consistent training, reciprocal communication, collaborative learning on performance goals, evaluates progress and follow up.
* Maintain a team oriented, collaborative, challenging, work environment that fosters creativity and a high level of job satisfaction
* Demonstrate a high level of knowledgeable assistance to highly valued customers and Investment Branch Financial Consultants, National Branch Financial Consultants, Concierge, Elite and Marketing representatives on our value proposition, competitive landscape and active trader topics including fundamental and technical analysis.
* Carefully determine appropriate priority of required tasks. Plan work to ensure deadlines are met. Be consistently proactive and utilize available resources.
* Travel - The Manager, Active Trader Relationship Manager will be called upon to travel and represent E*TRADE at various seminars, Co-sponsored marketing events, Grand Openings, and industry trade shows.


Knowledge and Skills:

* Advanced knowledge of the securities industry including equities and derivatives markets
* Thorough understanding of Power E*TRADE service and product offerings.
* Strong ability to build relationships—both internally and externally.
* Demonstrated professionalism in a volatile business environment with minimal supervision
* Expert consultative selling skills
* Demonstrates positive and professional customer focused behavior
* Computer literacy including familiarity with online services, trading solution platforms, PC skills, and technical resolution. Ability to troubleshoot basic to advanced technical problems
* Identify and work toward common goals with others
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
* Acts as a catalyst and champion of change; helps build commitment on the sales team to quickly implement change
* Requires strong work ethic, a passion to excel, extraordinary interpersonal skills, and team-orientation

Job Prerequisites:

* Series 3, 7, 24 and 63 REQUIRED
* Series 4 preferred.
* Education or Training Equivalent to: BA/BS preferably in business administration, finance or related field
* 3 years experience in a demanding financial sales environment with proven results, including at least 2 years management experience.
* 1 year E*TRADE experience preferred
