Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for an Aviation Broker in our Dallas, TX office. This position is in our Aviation National Practice Group.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
# Identifies and analyzes client exposures to recommend and design risk transfer/financing products.
# Facilitates and reviews the compilation of submission information in conjunction with Account Executives and CSBU support.
# Finalizes market submission and product design options with Account Executive and client, as appropriate.
# Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of insurance marketplace, products, and services. Develops and maintains productive business relationships with key players.
# Selects, submits and negotiates with appropriate markets to meet and exceed coverage and risk transfer/risk financing products.
# Creates syndication status reports as required by client.
# Analyzes and compares risk transfer/risk financing products and presents to relationship manager and client. Confirms final decisions and initiates program execution with Account Executive and CSBU.
# Assists the Account Executive in establishing the Client Service Plan.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
This level requires that incumbents be able to handle the duties described above with minimal oversight. Comprehensive knowledge of their product line discipline and proficiency in internal business applications. An understanding of alternative sophisticated products for clients are required. Brokers will be able to independently handle complex accounts and operate in front of clients. Individuals should understand policy construction and application and have experience and/or education in Risk Management/Insurance. In addition they should possess good client relation, organizational and time management/multi-tasking skills. They should be able to fully utilize PC office products, such as Word, Excel and Lotus Notes and possess ability to gain proficiency in internal business application, such as Bridge.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3-5 years of insurance brokerage or equivalent experience.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Individuals at this level must generally be degreed in Risk Management or business related curriculum. P&C insurance license is required.
