Vice President of Active Trader Services

Position Description:
The Vice President of Active Trader Services is a key member of the Active Trader Management team and has a significant voice within the brokerage business leadership team (Reporting into the SVP of Active Trader Client/Risk Management). Specifically this individual will lead our High Net Worth (HNW) trading relationship strategy. The role requires operational effectiveness across multiple sites and managing a quality assurance plan that maximizes customer loyalty and relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Lead several teams of trading managers.
* Establish key goals, create annual plans, and execute against strategic goals.
* Drivie customer loyalty, new household growth, increase trades and use of margin are measures of success.
* Proactively manage account risk and ensure minimal trading and margin loss.
* Manage a highly skilled and motivated team managers whose teams service, sell, and trade on our highly sophisticated retail trading platforms.
* Ensure a broad range of capabily that also includes servicing our equity research on and fixed income capability to HNW active traders.
* Help supervise some external events with prospects/customers at seminars, trade summits, and industry trade expo's as they are related to HNW traders.

Requirements Education and Experience:

* Bachelors degree (equivalent experience),
* MBA, CMT, CFA, a plus.
* Minimum of 10 years management experience with a focus on leading a brokerage operation, trading, and relationship management.
* HNW account leadership experience is a plus.


* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong reporting background
* Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders across the various Fidelity businesses
* Relationship and operations management experience
* Strong coaching and development skills
* Proven leadership ability and the ability to coordinate a large team, set and obtain goals and develop a strong HNW trading business
* Series 7, 8 (24 a plus). Within six months of being hired it is expected that the series 4 (ROP) and series 3 (futures if needed) be obtained.
* Along with the required licenses there is an expectation that there be extensive knowledge of brokerage and trading and market dynamics
* This would include margin, risk, order flow, technical and fundamental analysis, options, futures, and niche services and tools (back testing, Prime Brokerage, block trading etc.).
