Segment Finance Manager - Wealth Management Services

Description

Leads the strategic, tactical and day-to-day support of all aspects of the Wealth Management Division�s financial functions. Responsibilities include the development and monitoring of the division�s annual budget, assessing organizational performance, developing metrics and reporting systems, and keeping management apprised of internal and external issues and trends that impact the division�s performance. Plays a key role in the development of long-term strategy initiatives including the evaluation of proposed new markets, mergers, acquisitions and investments for the achievement of the division�s growth and profitability. Directs the evaluation of current and proposed financial plans and policies as they relate to the division�s profitability.

� *Bachelor�s Degree or a minimum of 8 years experience in a banking and/or financial services environment required.
� *Minimum 5 years experience as a Corporate or Divisional Chief Financial Officer, Controller or Senior Financial Manager required.
� *Minimum 5 years of management and/or supervisory experience required.
� MBA preferred.
� Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies highly preferred.
� Significant experience in or knowledge of acquisitions, including accounting and tax implications.
� Excellent written and oral communication including strong presentation skills to senior levels of management.
� Effective managerial and organizational skills.
� Effective project management skills.
� Strong quantitative analysis skills and abstract reasoning skills.
� Strong knowledge of SEC and other regulatory reporting requirements and understanding of internal controls.
� Ability to build positive relationships throughout the bank and work cooperatively with members of the Audit Committee, Disclosure Committee, Executive Committee and other senior management.
� Must be capable of establishing professional expertise through integrity, dedication, and strategic counsel.
