Position Summary

Responsible for trading, monitoring, reporting, verifying, researching, and distributing information regarding all fixed income securities trading opportunities and market patterns for existing financial institution clients.

Essential Duties

Performs the daily activities of the Trading Desk to include the timely and efficient execution of securities transactions.
Provides multiple bids and offers processing for financial advisors, sales representatives, and financial institutions.
Researches, formulates and distributes trading information, industry comparisons, and fixed income data to field representatives and management teams.
Secures and verifies information pertaining to securities available for purchase from bids, brokers, and dealers for distribution.
Monitors movement of securities markets and trading patterns of securities to ensure proper trade execution and minimize market impact.
Monitors and reports unmatched trades.


Minimum Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Financial Management, or other related field.
Must possess and maintain all applicable securities licenses (Series 7 and Series 63).
Must have at least two (2) years in analyzing, trading, and/or monitoring fixed income securities products or related experience.
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem resolution skills.
Must demonstrate exceptional organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
Must proficient in word processing and spreadsheets including MS Office products such as Word and Excel.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with users, vendors and management.
Must be a self-starter, be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time while utilizing personal computer applications and software to trade, analyze, research, report, and distribute fixed income securities and products.
