My client is a leading options trading firm in downtown Chicago looking to add talented C# embedded developers to their equity derivative quantitative trading desk. By “embedded’ we mean sitting side by side with traders at the trading desk as trades are being executed in real time. This trading is based on quantitative strategies utilizing mathematical models to enable the electronic execution of trades and typically demands a great deal of multi-threaded, C# programming expertise to build complex systems that enable competitive advantages.

The need is for a hands-on, front office C# developer with the communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to handle a desk-based position. You will work as a key member of one of the high frequency trading teams, developing low latency C# trading systems. The role incorporates a level of maintenance and support of existing production systems but this is all part of working closely with front-office traders.

• Quantitative Analyst
• Trading Systems Manager

• Traders
• Embedded Developer

Technical candidates will require a depth of programming experience in C# and C++ or Java. The platform is Linux and candidates will also require some experience working with SQL server.
