Description Business Unit: GE Corporate

Function: Asset Management

Responsibilities:

# Specialize in Asian markets with ability to back up other international markets including Europe

# Support global offices, via regular interaction with portfolio managers, analysts and traders

# Provide consistent strong execution, trading strategy and market information (daily market rundowns, news on any portfolio holdings, updates on outstanding orders) to international portfolio managers and analysts; Minimize trading risk

# Generate nightly Asian market intelligence report

# Track IPO calendar and keep appropriate managers informed; Ensure proper allocation and processing of IPO trades according to internal policy

# Ensure commissions paid according to budget and negotiate rates both annually and on relevant individual trades, manage broker relationships

# Meet all soft dollar and directed commission commitments

# Explore new sources of liquidity and ways to improve connectivity, electronic algorithmic trading and information gathering in the international marketplace

# Work with program group and trade regional programs

Requirements Qualifications:

ROTATE SHIFTS EVERY TWO WEEKS from 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM or 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY - Time changes with daylight savings. Second shift has to cover the India close at about 6:00 AM.

# Minimum 3 years trading experience

# Strong technical skills and knowledge of Bloomberg; Familiarity with Merrin and ECN's

# Strong understanding of Asian and European markets, structure, operations and compliance

# You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

# You must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check
