Description
TRAINING. SUPPORT. RECOGNITION. REWARDS.

WE SEE YOUR CAREER IN TOTAL.

EXPLORING YOUR OPTIONS? Many of our most successful Financial Advisors come to Merrill Lynch from fields outside financial advisory services. If your expertise lies in law, banking, accounting, sales, insurance, marketing, military officer or a similar area -- and you have a strong record of relationship building with affluent individuals or small- to mid-sized business -- discover how you can broaden your professional horizons as a Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS will foster your continued growth, giving you the in-depth knowledge you'll need to deliver our fully integrated approach to wealth management, Total Merrill. You'll also enjoy one of the industry's most attractive compensation programs, unparalleled technical resources, plus a team structure and philosophy that truly reflect our culture of excellence.

The Financial Advisor position is highly entrepreneurial and involves extensive client development, prospecting, and consultative selling. Financial Advisors listen to their clients’ life goals and objectives and leverage the power of Merrill Lynch to develop strategies that help them get there.

Financial Advisors participate in training and development throughout their careers to continually improve their ability to provide the best advice and service for their clients. Initial training experiences will give you a foundation of financial planning skills and prepare you for the Series 7 General Securities Exam. In addition, our Paths of Achievement program provides comprehensive training over five years to develop exceptional client advisory skills in the investment process, balance sheet management, estate planning, and other competencies to serve a broad range of clients.

We offer a generous base salary plus cash incentives from day one, even as you earn your licenses and build your business. In addition, you will be able to participate in our industry leading compensation and benefit programs and have the potential for equity participation in the growth of our firm. Relocation assistance is not provided. If offered employment, you will be required to provide documents to establish your identity and legal authorization to work in the United States.
