Compensation: $75,000 to $125,000 per year

Well known Financial Services firm is looking for a Fixed Income Trader.
The Fixed Income group is looking for a motivated individual to assist the team across a wide range of municipal investment activities. The individual will be exposed to all levels of the municipal investment decision-making process and play a key role in handling private wealth management order execution and institutional account risk management. In addition, this individual must interact as a seamless interface between the team and various internal constituencies. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Domestic Fixed Income Portfolio Management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute municipal bond trades for Institutional and Private Clients.
Perform municipal bond market surveillance for Institutional and Private Clients.
Will assist portfolio managers in identifying relative value opportunities.
Act as a liaison between municipal trading and credit research.
Responsible for daily updates of municipal analytics.
Conduct municipal performance attribution and serve as the point person for price challenges.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
A college degree is required.
A self-motivated team player with solid communication skills.
Strong analytical and computer skills with a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Comfortable interacting with senior investment professionals.
A rigorous attention to detail and good time-management skills.
Series 7 & Series 66 registered.
