The Fixed Income Department of Edward Jones is looking for a highly-specialized trader, with strong financial skills, who wants to work with our brokers, to help them meet their client's investment goals.

Responsible for the trading and supply of bonds for the Financial Advisors to help them meet the financial goals of their clients.
Participate in proactively marketing campaigns in order to educate the Financial Advisors to the benefits of using Fixed Income to help solve the goals of their clients.
Provide accurate and timely responses to BID requests.
Support branches when necessary, via written & verbal communication.
Maintain regulatory compliance.

A bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or marketing preferred.
Series 7 & 66 licenses desired.
CFA or working towards obtaining CFA, a plus.
Microsoft Office proficiency a must.
A minimum of one year Fixed Income Trading experience.
Strong presentation, written, verbal, and listening skills required.
Excellent customer service and a high level of proficiency and aptitude in mathematical skills are essential. Must also be very detail-oriented.
Demonstrated success in building and executing a business plan marketing financial products.
Demonstrated success in teambuilding and mentoring others.
Advanced product knowledge and understanding of capital markets.
Preferred proficiency in the usage of Bloomberg, or similar system, for bids, product searches and yield calculations.
Must be able to quickly and accurately calculate bids and execute fixed income trades. Must have an awareness of the interest rate environment and market volatility.
Strong problem solving skills are necessary to determine which resources to use when responding to branch requests.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities, is essential.
